First Apartment - A Rite of Passage
I accompanied my daughter, a recent college graduate and newly employed, and her best friend yesterday as they began to search for their first post-graduate apartment in Wrigleyville on Chicago's north side. The rental market is red hot in Chicago - even as we enter the offseason for rentals - and the trend is expected to continue and even accelerate. Hence, the fantasy versus the reality. Yikes!
